Good Day!
when i install vat(audio) does the codec is
built-in the program or is it platform/OS dependent. I mean does the OS should
have built-in codec or the vat program provides its own set of codecs. just
wondering cause i still can't make the program in freebsd 4.3 and 4.2. what i
tried is changing the MAKEDEV from snd0 to snd1 and transffering the sound card
ffrom port to port. any help is appreciated. And Andrew thanks from the previous
answers really appreciate it.

p.s. Also, has anyone managed to test the system in
FREEBSD 3.4 up. just want to know how did you do it.
